Russian Visa Centres
Due to the Russian Visa Center temporary closure starting June 5, 2017 visa applications can be submitted personally to the Consular Division of the Embassy by a prior appointment or through an authorized representative (travel or visa agency).

In Canada, besides Ottawa, visa centres also operate in Toronto and Montreal.
Visa centres are officially authorized to accept, process and forward documents including consular fees to diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Russian Federation for further consideration from individuals and companies as well as travel agencies and also to prepare for picking up passports with visas ready. The Visa centres employees consult applicants on matters related to visa applications, the required set of documents for obtaining visa, procedure and terms of getting visa etc.
The final decision to grant or refuse visas lies with Russian diplomatic missions and consular offices.
For its services the centre will charge a fixed service fee of 45 CAD which entirely goes into its disposal. Service charge is not to be mixed up with the consular fee payable to the Russian diplomatic mission or consular office. The amount of the visa fee established in accordance with Consular Tariff.
